VineLight Fire Intelligence
I employed a design process for VineLight that is time-tested and has been used when crafting brands and properties for the like of Apple and Twitter. The green flame is cut from overlapping pieces of circles that vary in diameter, but whose proportions are within the Fibonacci sequence. This helped to marry a concept of both flame and foliage, as this famous number sequence is seen throughout nature’s sylvan canopy. VineLight needed a brand that spoke to its BI solutions and how they could help fire departments and other municipal services become faster, data-driven and more efficient. They came to me with their first iteration of an in-house logo design, with the goal: “Don’t depart too far from what we have, but make it better overall.”
