Spiracle

Spiracles are the little openings through which butterflies breathe. I designed a line art logo that created forms from lines that are all open as well. One of the gestalt principles of perception is closure. It suggests that humans like to fill in the gap and close boundaries that are left open so that a form can feel complete.
